REPAIRS TO GARADOR up and over garage doors

GARADOR MK 3C The most common repair is broken cables. We always replace both cables. Some Companies just change one wire but this is not an effective repair and it will not last as long.

Check your springbox across the top of the the door. If it has a plastic front on it we can change the cables. If is has a metal front it is not possible to change the cables and you will need a complete new C springbox - which includes the springs, and new cables. Please ring and ask if we have reconditioned springboxes. Make a note of the size of your door and the pattern on the front - you will need these to identify which box you need.

Really old Type F 3C cables are not common, and not usually stocked.

Check your rollers on your door - Worn rollers cause the door to jump tracks - if the head are worn flat you will need to replace them. These are not included with a new springbox.

In general it is a good idea to always note down the size, pattern, and model number of your door if you can so that we can identify any of the spares you need.

GARADOR MK4 . With this door the springs are found down each side. They are easily recognised as having a thick spring at the bottom with a smaller collar then a small spring about 4in long ontop with a loop to hook it on. Please note all Mk4 doors need springs of different strenghts according to size& pattern of door.
